General Golf Information

Tee Times

Tee Times are required at all times. Members may schedule tee times up to seven (7) days in advance. All other tee times may be scheduled up to three (3) days in advance. Corporate Outings will be available and may be scheduled up to six (6) months in advance.

Appropriate Attire

Collared shirts, long pants or bermuda length shorts are required for men. Golf shorts, culottes, pants or golf skirts are appropriate for women. No cutoffs or tank tops allowed. Shirts must be worn at all times. No bathing suits of any kind are allowed. Golf shoes with soft spikes are encouraged. Sneakers or tennis shoes are allowed with permission from the golf shop staff. No soccer or other cleated games shoes of any kind are allowed.
 
Pace of Play

Slow play will not be tolerated. Course assistants will be on site to assist players and maintain the proper pace of play. Walkers will be required to maintain the designated pace of play.

Facilities

Sage Meadows Golf Club facilities will include a 5,000 + sq. ft. clubhouse with a fully stocked golf shop, grill and snack bar, and private lounge. Memberships for the private lounge will be available to the general public for a nominal fee. Property owners utilizing the membership option will have use of the private lounge facilities. Club owned cart storage only will be in the lower section of the clubhouse. A first class practice area and driving range will be located adjacent to the clubhouse with a large teeing ground, putting green and short game practice and lesson areas provided.

The Golf Course

Designed by Kevin Tucker of Nashville, Tennessee and constructed by Sajo Construction Co. of Houston, Texas, The Sage Meadows Golf Club course will offer an outstanding yet fair and enjoyable test of golf on a beautiful rolling site of meadows, streams, ponds and mature hardwood trees. The greens will be bent grass while the fairways will be zoysia. Tees, roughs and surrounds will be hybrid bermuda.

Staff

The golf operations staff at Sage Meadows Golf Club features PGA golf professionals serving fee players, members and their guests with first class service. The staff is available for individual and group golf instruction as well as providing tournament administration, club repair, merchandising assistance and other services. Many Junior and Family teaching, tournament and outing programs are available.

The golf course maintenance and grounds staff is headed up by Superintendent Bob Wollenberg.

Other Amenities

A pool and tennis facility is offered for Sage Meadows property owner's and guests only. The Sage Meadows Property Owner's Association owns and operates the pool and tennis facility through  P.O.A. fees. While totally separate from Sage Meadows Golf Club, property owner's who take advantage of the exclusive membership option in the golf club will have the opportunity to combine these facilities for their use and enjoyment to create a high quality community and club environment.
